EDICOMData e-catalogue integrated with your ERP to synchronize product data with the Catalan Health Institute (ICS)

The Institut Català de Salut (ICS) now requires the use of an electronic catalogue by suppliers awarded its tenders to publish and synchronize their product information. These successful bidders will have a 30 day deadline from the date of approval of the award to incorporate the required information into an e-catalogue.

To work with ICS, EDICOM provides users with an e-catalogue approved by GS1 that works through the GDSN network and is interoperable with AECOC DATA or any Data Pool connected to the GS1 International network.

Through the EDICOMData e-catalogue, any company can synchronize the information from its article master not only with the ICS, but with any customer or supplier that requires it, and all fully automated.

The advantage of having an e-catalogue like EDICOMData is that catalogue management can be totally integrated with your working management system, with no need to have to add your product data to the e-catalogue manually.

With the incorporation of an electronic solution for product databases, the ICS procurement process cycle is completely digitized, as the institution also requires the electronic exchange of orders (ORDERS), order response messages (ORDRSP), electronic despatch advices (DESADV) and receipt of goods acknowledgements (RECADV).

Managing large volumes of product information can be tedious. This is why suppliers, manufacturers and retailers are moving away from the use of traditional catalogues in favour of product data synchronization through the GDS network. Whereas catalogues needed to be constantly updated to modify the information on the articles or add new references, e-synchronization makes the process automatic and immediate.

Through the EDICOM Platform for EDI communication management and issuing e-invoicing, you can also implement the synchronization of your product data with the ICS in an integrated and automated way, saving on time and resources.

Global EDI solutions for e-Invoicing and tax compliance

The growth of dematerialization is gradually spreading throughout the European Union, in both B2B and B2G areas. Within this modernization process, the healthcare sector deserves special attention, as in view of its complexity and international weight, the implementation of EDI technology in healthcare is a challenge.

The healthcare sector is one of the most advanced in digital transformation towards automatic electronic processes in the European region. Some countries such as the United Kingdom and Italy are involved in projects that require the use of electronic processes to exchange invoices, orders and product data.

In the current scenario, it is essential to have an international provider able to supply global solutions suitable for international data synchronization project or e-Invoicing and electronic VAT. The progress of digitalization in these issues can bring important challenges globally for companies in the healthcare sector. The automation of communications and optimization of time and human resources will provide companies in the sector with more facilities to devote their efforts to what is really important in their business: innovation in health and people.

To this end, EDICOM provides its clients a secure and international platform that guarantees connectivity between companies and institutions and which automates the processes of reception, generation, sending and integration of invoices, as well as any other business document.
