Seven out of ten Spanish pharmacies use Business@Mail Pharma
The Business@Mail Pharma e-commerce platform is used by almost 70% of Spanish pharmacies, 20% more than a year ago. This solution, developed by EDICOM in collaboration with major laboratories, simplifies the exchange of key information between pharmacies and their suppliers. A technological initiative designed to optimize business negotiations for 14,977 pharmacy dispensaries.
Since Business@Mail Pharma was rolled out in 2013, more than 775,222 documents have been processed through the platform, and almost half a million of them were e-invoices. The rest consisted of despatch advices, orders, billing lists and SEPA mandates.
The largest publisher of information in Business@Mail Pharma is Pierre Fabre Ibérica, with over 369,000 documents. All in all, there are ten pharmaceutical companies, the biggest in the sector, working with this platform on a daily basis. They include Biogalénica, Bayer, Logista Pharma, Disalfarm, Abbot, Hartmann, Boehringer, IFC and Bioderma.

Working with Business@Mail Pharma is really simple and intuitive, so no specific training of any kind is needed. To use the solution, all you need is a computer with an Internet connection. Pharmacy customers simply enter their username and password to access a private website, where they can check the messages received from the different suppliers.
