EDICOM Platform Successfully Kick-Starts e-Invoicing Between Private Companies in Italy
05/07/2018
e-Invoicing among private companies is already up and running in Italy for subcontractors of the Public Administration, as well as voluntarily for any company that wants to join. The SdI provides businesses with the intermediate platform to start sending and receiving e-Invoices and the corresponding receipt acknowledgments. This way, companies can get ahead of the compulsory requirement and have more time to get used to working with the new system in-house.
EDICOM is already in production in the full flow of e-Invoicing with the SdI. EDICOM’s e-invoicing platform has successfully connected with several businesses which are now integrated and working automatically with the SdI platform In addition, all the acknowledgments received by the SdI are being automatically integrated into the ERP of the users, so that they can check the status of their invoices directly from their internal management system.

Thanks to this option, companies can roll out the new billing system and the electronic model in a scheduled manner, avoiding the move to mass production on January 1, 2018. We advise businesses to steal a march on mandatory use and begin running trials of the new model so as to be ready by January 1, 2019. At the same time, we can continue working through the traditional channels.
