Global e-invoicing services
e-invoicing in Latin America is consolidated in some countries but also rapidly expanding in others. Many new countries in the region are introducing new schemes including: Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Bolivia, Panama and Paraguay.
The main challenge for companies operating in Latin American countries Is the ability to comply with the different obligations found in each electronic invoicing model. The processes of sending and receiving e-invoices can become complex if you do not have an e-Invoicing provider capable of guaranteeing the correct issuance and receipt of these e-documents in compliance with each legislation. In addition, the growing development of a shared services center in key countries in Central America such as Costa Rica or Panama involves adapting to their needs in e-invoicing issuance and reception in compliance with the legislation of each region.
Technological solutions such as EDICOM’s Global e-Invoicing Platform, can adapt to the information systems of North American companies and the requirements in each of these countries so that international invoicing projects can be completed successfully and according to the legal and fiscal requirements.
European B2G e-Invoicing is regulated through Directive 2014/55/EU. As of, 18 April 2019 central public entities must be able to receive and process electronic invoices from their partners. This deadline can be expanded a year, until 2020, for regional and local entities. This is a big step towards the digitalization of business processes. In some countries like France, Italy and Spain B2G invoicing is Mandatory and there is a mandatory schema for B2B electronic invoices. Croatia, Sweden and Portugal have also implemented mandatory B2G invoices.
EDICOM’s e-Invoicing platform simplifies the process of sending and receiving electronic invoices in multinational environments. It is the ideal solution for companies that operate in different markets from centralized management systems and have a need to process these documents according to the legislation currently in force in each country. Our solution is multistandard (UBL, PEPPOL, XML, Facturae, Chorus Pro, FatturaB2B) and multi-protocol (PEPPOL AP, AS4, webservices, etc.).
