Automatically Upload Information to the CENABAST System
Automatically send your dispatch guides, copiascedibles, and other commercial documents to CENABAST through an ERP integration managed by EDICOM.
Chile centralizes the provision of medication and supplies to the Ministry of Health through the National Health Service Central Supply System (CENABAST). The CENABAST is responsible for providing drugs and medical devices to Chilean Public Health Sector facilities.
Until now, suppliers were required to manually report all distribution and reception information to the CENABAST platform – an inconvenient and inefficient process.
Now that an integration API has been launched, suppliers of the CENABAST can send all required information electronically and automatically through the EDICOM platform.
Secure Supply of Medical Goods is Key to Guaranteeing Public Health
Proper management of the medical supply chain is essential to a well-functioning health service. For this reason, the entire process is subject to rigorous controls, in which aspects such as traceability are critical.
To guarantee traceability, suppliers and logistics operators must be able to report on the goods they supply and their status in real time.
Suppliers to the CENABAST are required to provide the following information about shipments made to health facilities:
Details of the products provided (invoice number, guide number, lot, quantity)
Notification of dispatch, receipt, or rejection by the health facility
Reception: Acknowledgement of receipt of goods (electronic copiacedible and date of receipt)
The CENABAST evaluates information received from suppliers for compliance with their specifications. Failure to comply with declaration methods and timelines can lead to penalization in future bids. If the copia cedible is not sent correctly, it may lead to nonpayment of goods.
