Edicom reaches global interoperability agreement with GXS
Edicom recently struck a worldwide interoperability agreement with GXS for the transmission and exchange of electronic invoices and related documents between clients and users of both companies, with no limitations in terms of volume or format.
EESPA: Framework agreement for companies in the sector
This expansive agreement for the B2B communications sector was reached under the auspices of EESPA (European E-Invoicing Service Providers Association), a non-profit organization that aims to encourage the presence and use of electronic invoicing in all economic sectors while respecting European competition guidelines.
Encouraging the creation of an interoperable environment, the EESPA has developed a framework agreement on connectivity between B2B communications providers with their own VANs (Value Added Networks).
Under this contract, designated “Model Interoperability Agreement” (MIA), the main actors: the multinational European EDI (electronic data interchange) providers and the association members, signed a collaboration pact whose main beneficiaries are the thousands of users exchanging electronic documents on a daily basis.
