AFIP launches online checking system for invoices and electronic authorization codes (CAE)
Argentina’s Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP)provides a new web service connection to its invoice registration platform. With the rollout of this technology, EDICOMhas developed a module in its e-billing solution that allows real-time checking of the invoices received, thus effectively assuring that they have been authorized by the AFIP.
This new functionality is now up and running in the EDICOM electronic billing platform, so any of our clients can make use of this automatic checking system for inbound invoices.
EDICOM’s electronic communications system has successfully passed the testing tasks required by the AFIP. This way, connecting to the Public Administration, where the transfer of sensitive and confidential information takes place, becomes a procedure that is 100% secure and reliable.

Incoming electronic invoices are taken from the EDICOM electronic billing solution and automatically sent via a secure connection totally transparent to the user (webservices protocol) to the AFIP.
The system cross-references the data with the AFIP records and decides whether it is an invoice authorized and registered by the Argentinean Public Administration. If the response is negative, the invoice is not processed. If the answer is positive, the invoice is stored and integrated with your ERP, safe in the knowledge that the data entered in your system are 100% legitimate and reliable.
