The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is holding two workshops in the cities of Montreal and Vancouver (Canada) to present the advantages and updates on the progress being made in rolling out the new electronic system for the exchange of air waybill documents (e-AWB).
The new electronic system takes paper out of the loop of logistic and commercial processes, improving efficiency and data accuracy. This leads to a significant reduction in running costs and speeds up the delivery of air cargo shipments.
These workshops are totally free of charge for Airlines, Freight Forwarders, GHAs and GSSAs operating in Canada.
