Invoice Storage

The nature of legal invoices creates certain demands in regards to their ongoing retention. This usually results in the obligation to store for a given period of time (often 5 years) and the dedication of administrative resources to ensure that this is accomplished.

Just like the paper variety, electronic invoices must be stored for a prescribed amount of time in their original format, freely available for auditing.

EDICOM’s solutions for electronic invoicing include the guaranteed storage of all documents that are sent and received on our platform. This storage is realized on our B2B Cloud Platform, but the documents are freely available, as if they were stored on your own PC.

Edicom’s clients, via an online dashboard that comes with their solution, can freely view, print, or download any electronic invoices that are stored, all without having to dedicate their own resources to the project or worry about its ongoing performance. .

In certain countries, such as Mexico and Italy, all invoices must contain a digital signature provided by an approved 3rd party.

Electronic documents managed by EDICOM, are preserved in compliance with Personal Data Protection laws.

Furthermore, EDICOM has an Information Security System in compliance with standard UNE-ISO/IEC 27001:2007, and a continuous control system according with SAS70 TYPE II.

Preservation of electronic invoice is made with high security levels, improving the management and the treatment of the invoice archive. This enables important savings compared to paper invoice storage.
