Business@Mail Pharma: The Platform That Links Laboratories and Pharmacies Electronically
Business@Mail Pharma is a solution developed by EDICOM in collaboration with the main pharmaceutical laboratories operating in Spain to optimize communications in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Pharmaceutical laboratories such as Pierre Fabre, Bayer, Hartmann, Leti, Bioderma and Logista Pharma use the platform every day to send business documents automatically and electronically to all their clients. The solution is totally free of charge to pharmacies.
Order confirmations, despatch advices, delivery notes, e-invoices or monthly billing reports can be sent directly to pharmacies through this electronic platform. Pharmacies access a private online portal to check, download or print their commercial documents securely and confidentially.
The solution, which connects more than 25 laboratories and over 17,000 pharmacies, is consolidated each year, evolving at the service of the main sector stakeholders, allowing them to adjust the service to the specific needs of the users.
Easy management of due dates and payments
Business@Mail Pharma incorporates a module for managing due dates and payments. This way, pharmacies have a complete calendar automatically generated with details of the payments due on each date from their different suppliers. The information, provided by the suppliers, is updated daily, facilitating accounts payable management by pharmacy offices.
This new functionality also provides extended information on each of the payments, such as the contact details of the laboratories to deal with or manage any payment related incidents.
Managing SEPA mandates
Among other documents, the platform makes available to users the possibility of managing SEPA mandates, whose use is compulsory within the European Union, and which must be signed by pharmacies to enable direct debit orders. Thanks to Business @ Mail Pharma, all documents can be managed quickly and 100% electronically.
