Electronic tax documents are thus digital documents issued through a billing system certified by the Tax Agency, which will be legal and valid for tax purposes as long as they contain a digital signature or the credentials authorized by the SIN and registered in the Tax Administration Database.
The National Tax Service has amended the dates anticipated for massive widespread use of e-invoicing in the country through publication of the Regulatory Resolution: Directive Nº. 101900000003.
The resolution sets a new timeline for implementation of the SFE billing system. The rollout process will now last one year, starting on November 1 and will gradually expand until November 1, 2020.
