EDICOM Signs Strategic Partnership with Digicert for e-Invoicing in Bolivia
EDICOM Signs Strategic Partnership with Digicert for e-Invoicing in Bolivia.
The agreement signed by EDICOM and Bolivian outfit DigiCert will provide businesses with an e-invoicing system certified by the tax authority, ensuring taxpayer compliance with National Tax Service (SIN) requirements for electronic tax documents.
Digicert is the first private enterprise in Bolivia to be certified to issue the digital signatures needed for electronic tax documents. The partnership will make it easier for companies that invoice in Bolivia to step up to their mandatory inclusion in the Electronic Invoicing System (SFE) set to begin on 1 November.
Bolivia Enforces e-Invoicing Starting 1 November
As set out in Regulatory Resolution Directive No. 101900000003 published by the Bolivian tax authority, the e-invoicing system will be rolled out gradually. Taxpayers have been classified into different groups and a timeline for their inclusion in the SFE has been established on a staggered basis through to 1 November 2020, when all taxpayers are expected to be invoicing electronically.
The National Tax Service this month enabled the test environment for businesses to be able to check that their invoicing systems perform processes and communications correctly. Taxpayers who need to implement their invoicing process can do so easily, safely, and simply with the EDICOM platform.
EDICOM e-Invoicing Platform
The EDICOM electronic invoicing system enables integration with your ERP, automating the process of generating, sending, and receiving invoices in line with the laws in force in Bolivia.
The EDICOM e-invoicing system requests the single daily invoicing code (CUFD) from SIN to be able to issue tax documents for a 24-hour period. After receiving it, EDICOM sends the digitally signed tax documents to SIN for validation. They are then integrated in the customer's ERP.
